Baltimore’s Kennedy Krieger Institute is an internationally recognized facility dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and musculoskeletal system through patient care, special education, research and professional training.
Kennedy Krieger’s clinical programs offer an interdisciplinary approach to treatment tailored to the individual needs of each child. In addition to autism, disorders addressed include cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, feeding disorders, learning disabilities and spinal cord injuries. Services include more than 40 outpatient clinics; neurobehavioral, rehabilitation, and pediatric feeding disorders inpatient units; plus several home and community programs providing services to assist families.
