The KKHS Bulldogs team is raising funds to give our school store a renovation. A student brought to our attention 5 years ago that the school store where he worked daily was not fully accessible to him as a worker. He is wheelchair bound and his chair could not fit behind the checkout counter to allow him to attend to the cashier job the way his peers did. We would move the iPad register to a location that let him access the machine but he wanted to be behind the counter like his peers. Fair enough. And we're so grateful he advocated for himself and future students. 

Ever since, we have been working together to raise funds to make the store accessible for all. What started as a simple facelift has turned into a major renovation that will be happening soon thanks to a few unexpected and very generous donations. This year's ROAR event is our final push to raise more money to make this renovation spectacular for all of our student workers and customers.
