Volunteer Positions	Time Commitment	Description
Registration/ Finish Line	6:15 AM - 10:00 AM	Volunteers will assist Institute staff in helping people check-in and pulling attendees' goodies at registration. At 8:15 AM, volunteers will go to the Finish Line to assist race management there. Volunteers may also be asked to escort Mascots to the Mascot challenge area at 9:45AM. Volunteers must check-in at volunteer check-in by 6:15 AM and will be able to leave no later than 10 AM.
Water Stop	6:45 AM - 10:00 AM	Volunteers will be directing people where to go on the course. Volunteers MUST check-in at volunteer check-in by 6:45 AM. (They will be transported onto the course promptly at 7:00 AM.) Volunteers will be required to stay no later than 10 AM.
Start Area/ Refreshments	7:00 AM - 10:30 AM	Volunteers will set-up refreshment area upon arrival at 7am and then at 7:30AM assist Charm City Run in directing people as they start the race. They will return to the refreshment station after the race starts to hand out refreshments after the race. Volunteers must check-in at volunteer check-in by 7:00 AM and will be able to leave no later than 10:30 AM.
Family Festival Games	7:15 AM - 11:00 AM	Volunteers will assist the Family Festival Chair in the setup of the games and mascot challenge and the running & breakdown of the games. Volunteers must check-in at volunteer check-in by 7:15 AM and will be able to leave no later than 11 AM.
General Event Operations	7:00 AM - 11:00 AM	These volunteers will assist Institute staff in general event day operations of monitoring parking, set up of the Mascot Challenge, providing attendees with general information, and helping with event breakdown. Flexibility with these volunteers is needed because tasks can be altered at any time. Volunteers must check-in at registration by 7:00 AM. and will be required to stay no later than 11:00 AM.
Parking	6:00 AM - 9:45 AM	These volunteers will assist Institute staff in monitoring parking on a grass parking and accessible paved lot. They will be in charge of monitoring the parking exit until the road re-opens at 9:15AM. They will also help cars exit safely amongst the last finishers of the race/walk. Volunteers must check-in at registration by 6AM and will be required to stay no later than 9:45AM.
Spirit Squad	7:30 AM - 9:45 AM	These volunteers will assist Institute event staff with cheering on runners and walkers. They MUST have prior contact with Special Events Coordinator to apply for this position.
